Blip is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data streaming platforms. You will work with Kafka, Pulsar, Cassandra, and AWS services to enhance developer experience and enable self-service capabilities across teams.

You will drive automation with IaC and CI/CD tooling, maintain documentation, and support a global, cross-functional engineering organization. On-call may be introduced later.

Qualificações

• Proven experience building and operating data streaming platforms.
• Hands-on with Apache Kafka, Cassandra and Apache Pulsar.
• Experience on AWS and data services (S3, EMR, Glue, Athena, QuickSight).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, IaC tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with GitOps and observability stacks.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate core components of data streaming platforms.
• Develop platform capabilities to improve developer experience and self-service.
• Drive automation using IaC and configuration tooling.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines promoting GitOps.
• Manage and enhance data streaming platforms and repositories.
• Write and maintain platform code and technical documentation.
• Support adoption of data streaming services across engineering teams.
• Define and document low-level designs for Flutter data-streaming services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party partners.
