Natixis in Portugal is seeking a Data Quality Scientist - AI & Innovation to strengthen the Credit Risk Monitoring team. You will work in an international setting (Porto and Paris) to apply AI techniques, build ML models, and ensure data governance across risk processes.

The role requires a strong data science background, experience deploying ML models, and fluency in English. The company promotes hybrid work and ESG/DEI initiatives across locations.

Qualificações

• Advanced degree in computer science, data science, machine learning, statistics or related field.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a business environment and with deep learning (genAI).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, as well as experience with data manipulation and visualization libraries.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, data mining techniques, and predictive modeling approaches.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and experience in developing and deploying AI applications.
• Strong desire to learn and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and innovative environment.
• The ability to train, facilitate, and effectively share complex concepts with various Natixis teams. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills, great listening abilities, and you are Rigorous and proactive.

Responsabilidades

• Utilize AI techniques to develop innovative solutions for optimizing business processes, enhancing customer experiences, and driving strategic decision-making.
• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from large and complex datasets.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and model evaluation to ensure accuracy and reliability of predictive models.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to identify and prioritize business problems that can be addressed through data analysis and predictive modeling.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions that deliver tangible value.
• Stay aware of the latest developments in AI, ML and data science, and identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and techniques to drive continuous improvement.

Contribute to the performance of the Natixis Credit Risk Department as aData Quality Scientist– AI & Innovationwithin the Credit Risk Monitoring (CRM) team. You will work within an international team (Paris/Charenton and Porto) whoseobjectivesare:

• Data Governance & Quality:Control andoptimizethecreditrisk data lifecycle (governance, controls, remediation).
• Regulatory & Internal Compliance:Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Automation & Innovation:Develop and implement solutions for better data exploitation and enhanced risk processes.
• Committee Coordination:Lead andfacilitatecredit risk monitoring bodies.

You will play a key role in mastering credit riskand respecting reference frameworks.Your missions will be to:

• Utilize AI techniques to develop innovative solutions foroptimizingbusiness processes, enhancing customer experiences, and driving strategicdecision-making.

You have more than three years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a bank or a financial institution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learningand will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions to support our businessobjectives.
