Crédit Agricole Group seeks a Compliance professional to support the DRCS unit in Portugal, focusing on GDPR rollout and data protection matters. You will ensure alignment with group policies, interact with authorities and partners, and contribute to ESG and transformation initiatives with legal expertise in data protection.

The role includes developing control plans, drafting policies, and preparing reports for the Supervisory Authority, board, and group.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the DRCS Compliance Unit activities with a focus on data protection analyses and GDPR rollout
• Support alignment with group guidelines and objectives on data protection
• Interact with data protection authorities, business partners and customers as needed
• Contribute to ESG, digital transformation, and new partnerships from a compliance and data protection perspective
• Develop and update control plans, KRIs, KPIs, and related monitoring and reporting
• Draft and update compliance and data protection policies and reports for authorities and the board
• Prepare annual data protection report for the Executive Committee and Board of Directors
• Draft legal opinions and contract proposals related to compliance issues
• Serve as point of contact with authorities on data protection matters

• Participate in the execution of the activities of the DRCS Compliance Unit, within the framework described above, with a special focus on the following areas: Monitor business and product projects, both from a general legal perspective and through specific analyses related to data protection issues;
• Implement the GDPR rollout program, with support from external service providers;
• Ensure alignment with Credit Agricole Assurances’ guidelines and objectives regarding data protection, managing the operational projects outlined in the activity plan;
• Ensure interaction with key stakeholders—data protection authorities, business partners, and customers;
• Actively participate in ESG, digital, organizational transformation, and new partnership projects, contributing legal expertise, particularly in the area of data protection;
• Implement and update the control plan, including its analysis, monitoring, and reporting;Define KRIs and KPIs, and oversee their implementation, monitoring, and reporting;
• Draft and update relevant policies regarding compliance and data protection;
• Drafting reports to the Supervisory Authority under the responsibility of the DRCS and participating in the preparation of other reports;
• Drafting reports to the group;
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements regarding the exercise of rights and incident management (data breaches);
• Ensure the preparation of the annual report to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors on data protection matters;
• Analyze legal issues related to the company’s activities, prepare legal opinions, and contribute (on compliance and data protection matters) to the drafting of contract proposals;
• Serve as the point of contact and reporting channel with the relevant authorities regarding data protection matters.
