Job summary

Fyld is hiring a Data Governance Specialist to strengthen our data governance, quality, lineage and privacy practices in Portugal. You will implement and improve governance policies, collaborate with business and technical teams, and promote a data-driven culture across client projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, hands-on experience with governance platforms (Purview/Collibra/Informatica/Alation), and a solid understanding of GDPR and MDM concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Data or related field.
• Experience implementing Data Governance frameworks, policies and best practices.
• Knowledge of data quality, metadata management, data lineage and data cataloguing concepts.
• Experience with Data Governance platforms such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Informatica, Alation or similar.
• Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Stewardship principles.
• Familiarity with GDPR and governance standards.
• Experience defining data ownership, business glossaries and data lifecycle processes.
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts is valued.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to promote a data-driven culture.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications in Data Governance or cloud platforms are a plus.
• Fluency in English.
