Fyld is a Portuguese consulting company specializing in trusted, secure data ecosystems. We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist to improve data quality, governance and compliance across projects.

You will implement governance policies, collaborate with business and technical teams, and help promote a data-driven culture with strong analytical skills and a passion for quality data governance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, data Mgmt or related field.
• Experience implementing Data Governance frameworks, policies and best practices.
• Knowledge of data quality, metadata management, data lineage and data cataloguing.
• Experience with data governance platforms like Purview, Collibra, Informatica or Alation.
• Understanding of MDM and Data Stewardship principles.
• Familiarity with GDPR and governance standards.
• SQL and data analysis basics.
• Ability to collaborate with business and tech stakeholders to promote a data-driven culture.
• Fluency in English; certifications are a plus.

Your Profile: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Analytics or related fields Experience implementing Data Governance frameworks, policies and best practices Knowledge of data quality, metadata management, data lineage and data cataloguing concepts Experience with Data Governance platforms such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Informatica, Alation or similar Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Stewardship principles Familiarity with data privacy regulations and governance standards, including GDPR Experience defining data ownership, business glossaries and data lifecycle processes Knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts is valued Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to promote a data-driven culture Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills Relevant certifications in Data Governance or cloud platforms are a plus Fluency in English
