A Metyis está a crescer e procura um Data Engineering Associate (Fashion) com 3–6 anos de experiência para integrar a nossa equipa global de Dados e Analytics no Porto, em Campus Digital. O(a) candidato(a) irá trabalhar com dados ao longo de todo o seu ciclo: aquisição, limpeza, integração, análise e visualização, em colaboração com cientistas de dados e equipas de produto.

Qualificações

• 3–6 anos de experiência em engenharia de dados.
• Diploma universitário relevante; cursos em programação e analytics.
• Excelência em raciocínio lógico, pensamento crítico e resolução de problemas.
• Bom domínio de Python/Scala e SQL.
• Conhecimento básico de big data e de plataformas em nuvem.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnosticar problemas, formular hipóteses e propor soluções.
• Processar dados estruturados e não estruturados.
• Executar atividades de ETL e desenvolver código para automação.
• Criar e manter soluções de dados para clientes e projetos.
• Comunicar-se com clientes em nível executivo e colaborar com equipas de dados.

Job description

Metyis is growing! We are looking for a Data Engineering Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join our global Data and Analytics team at our Digital Campus in Porto.

What you will do

• Diagnose problems, disaggregate issues, develop hypotheses and execute relevant solutions

• Undertake processing of structured and unstructured data

• Undertake work related to ETL activities

• Development of data processing codes for automation & building scalable solutions

• Develop and maintain data solutions for clients / projects

• Communicate and interact with clients at the executive level

• Collaborate with data science, reporting and product development teams

What you will bring

• 3 – 6 years of experience in the field of data engineering

• Education: Graduate degree or higher with courses in programming, data analytics

• Well-developed Logical Reasoning, Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving abilities

• Good programming skill in Python/scala or any scripting language

• Good knowledge of SQL is a required

• Basic knowledge and understanding of big data

• Knowledge on any one of the cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP

• Good to have GIT, CI-CD knowledge

• Strong business acumen and appreciation for business processes is desired

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language is a must
