Mercer is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Team in Lisbon, helping design, build and scale data pipelines and infrastructure for data-driven initiatives.

This hybrid role requires at least three days in the office weekly; you will collaborate with analytics and business teams, leverage Databricks, SQL and Python, and contribute to data governance, quality frameworks, and long-term platform architecture.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or related roles.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks.
• 2+ years of SQL/PLSQL development experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Proficiency with Python or R for data tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models feeding BI tools.
• Develop and maintain automated data pipelines for data collection, transformation and delivery.
• Implement data quality and governance frameworks across production sources.
• Document designs, workflows and best practices; mentor peers as needed.
