GoCardless Ltd is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain robust, scalable data infrastructure. You will ingest data from third-party sources, move data through pipelines, and craft models that shape insights for business decisions.

Join a collaborative team across GC’s data stack, working with analytic engineers, analysts, and stakeholders. We hire across experience levels, from pipeline developers to system designers, in a fintech environment.

Qualificações

• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing data models for analytics or product use cases.
• Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Proficiency in Python or similar language.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and iterate data models and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build and maintain scalable data architectures and orchestration.
• Implement data quality checks and governance processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and share knowledge.
• Reflect GoCardless values in day-to-day work.
