The Tech & Data practice at PwC provides opportunities to assist clients in gaining competitive advantages by collaborating with business leaders to address complex challenges and identify strategic opportunities.

PwC's data engineering role focuses on building pipelines, developing scalable models, and ensuring data quality across cloud and on-prem environments, while collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data solutions using Azure, Databricks, SQL and Python.

Qualificações

BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
At least 2 years of experience in ETL/ELT and data integration using Azure and/or Databricks.
Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL/KQL) and Python/PySpark for data transformation and processing.
Hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks.
Strong understanding of data architecture and modelling (dimensional/relational).
Experience in scalable cloud and on-prem platforms (SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
Fluent in both written and spoken English; Fluent in Portuguese.
Nice to have: Know-how in data quality, governance and/or Power BI data modelling.

Build data pipelines to move and transform data across cloud and on-prem systems.
Develop optimised data models ensuring performance, scalability and data quality.
Integrate data from multiple sources while applying governance and quality controls.
Implement optimised datasets for reporting and analytics.
Work with stakeholders to turn business needs into scalable data solutions.
