synvert, a GlobalLogic company, is seeking a Data Engineer to lead migration efforts and elevate data quality. You will steer dataset owners, assess ingestion pipelines, and ensure compliant, reliable transitions with a focus on performance and test coverage.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with non-technical stakeholders and engineers across product and platform teams, leveraging AWS and modern data tooling.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in data engineering roles with a hands-on DBT focus.
• Strong SQL skills and performance-minded querying.
• Experience with AWS services (S3) and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Terraform for IaC and modern data infra.
• English fluency and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Comfort with security, compliance and documentation standards.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with dataset owners to understand data scope and migration needs.
• Assess and improve ingestion pipelines for correctness and reliability.
• Identify PII fields and ensure compliance from the outset.
• Review migrations to fix inefficient queries and reduce staging layers.
• Write data quality tests and set up monitoring/alerting.
• Validate outputs on the new platform against the old before decommissioning.
