Diconium is seeking an experienced Data Engineer in Porto with a strong focus on building and optimizing data pipelines. You will work on ingesting, transforming, and delivering data across automotive, mobility, and industrial domains, leveraging AWS, Spark, and modern ETL frameworks.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on data engineering, proficiency in Python and SQL, and experience with streaming platforms.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with streaming data platforms (Kafka, EventHub, etc.).
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines in cloud environments.

• Gather and process data using batch and real-time processing frameworks.
• Design, implement, and manage data pipelines for clients.
• Monitor and improve pipeline performance and reliability.
• Support stakeholders in making data-driven technology decisions.

What You Can Expect

• You will gather and process raw, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data using batch and real-time data processing frameworks.
• You will monitor and improve the performance of the pipelines.
• You will work on fast‑paced and innovative projects with the goal to deliver innovative solutions for our customers.
• You will support different stakeholders (internal/external) in making the right technology decisions.
• You will design, implement, and manage data pipelines for our clients (internal/external).
• You will support our customers in obtaining the necessary data easily and transparently in order to develop intelligent data products in different fields (mobility, automotive, industrial, consumer, financial & non‑profit organizations).

Must Haves

• Python, Scripting (Bash/Python/Go/Ruby), ETL, Spark, Amazon Web Services (AWS), good communication skills, CI/CD, Data Warehouse, Data Architecture
• English‑speaking
• Suitable degree
• Streaming processing (Kafka, EventHub, etc.), SQL
• Relevant working experience of 5+ years
