Job summary

Kiion in Lisbon, Portugal seeks a Data Engineer to own the end-to-end data product lifecycle and write clean, testable code for scalable data services.

You will develop server-side Java applications, build REST/SOAP APIs, and work with both SQL and NoSQL databases while applying ETL techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in ETL solutions.
• Experience developing server-side web applications in Java.
• Experience developing Java Web Services with public API (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Proficient in object-oriented development.
• Able to adopt new technology quickly.
• Knowledge of Java frameworks, architecture, and design patterns.
