Cisco Systems Portugal - Sistemas Informaticos Sociedade Unipessoal, Limitada. seeks a Consulting Engineering Technical Leader (Data Centre) to guide design and delivery of advanced DC solutions.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shaping architectures and delivering measurable business outcomes. The role emphasizes proactive technical leadership, modernization using AI tools, and collaboration with engineering and services to influence future roadmaps.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, with 8–12 years of customer-facing technical consulting experience.
• Deep knowledge of L2/L3 networking (vPC, STP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) with hands-on Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K experience.
• Experience designing and deploying Data Centre solutions including Nexus, VXLAN Fabric and Cisco ACI Fabric (Multi Pod/Multisite).
• Experience integrating network services appliances (firewalls, IPS, load balancers, WAN optimizers) within DC designs.
• Expert level (CCIE, Cisco DevNet) or equivalent (VCP) certification expected.

• Provide technical leadership for complex cross-functional projects with Cisco Data Centre technologies.
• Drive adoption of innovative technology to solve real-world business problems and deliver scalable services.
• Apply and share advanced AI tools to optimise team workflows and improve value.
• Ensure solutions deliver measurable value and drive long-term adoption and satisfaction.
• Act as escalation point for complex problem resolution across data centre technologies.
• Lead development of digital intellectual capital, repeatable delivery frameworks, and knowledge sharing.
