Project Overview & Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing and ensuring the proper functioning of infrastructure in the following areas:
Project Management
- Develop, plan, and oversee the execution of infrastructure projects;
- Coordinate and validate engineering projects;
- Supervise the implementation of new Data Center rooms and infrastructure expansions (Racks/PODs, HVAC, UPS, Electrical Panels, etc.);
- Manage project budgets and financial control;
- Collect technical and economic data to evaluate proposed solutions;
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal client regulations within your scope of responsibility.
Infrastructure Management (Core Implementation Projects)
- Install and maintain racks, servers, switches, firewalls, routers, and storage devices;
- Install and remove network infrastructure (fiber optic and UTP cabling);
- Manage network connections and physical patching;
- Perform asset inventory and maintain up-to-date records;
- Identify and label all installed equipment within the Data Center;
- Interact and communicate effectively (in Portuguese and English) with technicians and clients, both onsite and remotely;
- Execute tasks and service requests based on assigned tickets;
- Manage access accreditation and supervise technicians and customers within Data Center facilities.
Requirements
Must Have
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Center implementation and/or operation in critical production environments;
- Basic understanding of networking concepts;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.);
- Basic knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux, Unix, Windows Server);
- Strong command of English (reading, writing, and professional communication).
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field;
- Hands‑on experience with project management tools, continuous improvement, and failure analysis;
- Familiarity with environmental protection measures and sustainability best practices;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD;
- Additional languages are a plus.
