Hexa Consulting seeks a Junior Data Center Infrastructure Technician to support the implementation, operation and continuous improvement of data center infrastructures. The role requires flexibility in schedules and on-call availability, and travel between Viseu and Porto.

Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory for professional communication. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in data center operations or related IT infrastructure, with education in Electrotechnics,

Responsabilidades

• Installing and organising equipment in racks.
• Fibre Channel, UTP and power cabling.
• Supporting infrastructure monitoring and capacity management.
• Supporting change management and technical project activities.
• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Contributing to service-level achievement and infrastructure improvements.

Flexible schedules and on-call availability

Driving licence and availability to travel required, particularly between Viseu and Porto

Main responsibilities:

• Installing and organising equipment in racks
• Fibre Channel, UTP and power cabling
• Supporting infrastructure monitoring and capacity management
• Supporting change management and technical project activities
• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation
• Contributing to service-level achievement and infrastructure improvements

We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience in data center operations, infrastructure or technical support, ideally with secondary education or professional training in Electrotechnics, IT or a related area. Professional working proficiency in English is a mandatory requirement.
