Us3 Consulting is seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native data platforms with Databricks at the core. You will drive design, governance, and implementation for enterprise data platforms while coordinating with stakeholders in Lisbon and beyond.

The role requires hands-on leadership, 6+ years in data architecture, and deep knowledge of Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks workflows.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of experience with Databricks
• 6+ years of experience as a Data Architect designing enterprise-scale data platforms
• Experience building and managing Lakehouse architectures using Databricks
• Strong knowledge of Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks Workflows
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Expertise in SQL and Python for data engineering and architecture
• Experience with ETL/ELT design, data integration, and pipeline orchestration
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and security frameworks

Responsabilidades

• Design and architect end-to-end data platforms using Databricks and cloud-native technologies.
• Define scalable data architecture, including data lakes, lakehouses, and modern analytics platforms.
• Lead the design of batch and real-time data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines.
• Establish data modelling standards (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support analytics and operational use cases.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement data governance, security, lineage, and quality best practices.
• Optimise platform performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across data engineering initiatives.
