GBL Tech is seeking a Data Analyst specializing in Power BI to build modern, data-driven solutions and empower business decisions. You will design scalable analytics platforms and enterprise reporting using Microsoft data technologies.
Key focus areas include Power BI development, data modeling with DAX and Power Query, and applying governance and performance optimizations across Fabric environments, Lakehouse, and Warehouses.

We're looking for a Data Analyst (Power BI) to help build modern, data-driven solutions that empower business decision-making. You'll play a key role in designing scalable analytics platforms, developing enterprise reporting solutions, and leveraging the latest Microsoft data technologies to deliver impactful insights.
Business Intelligence Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, delivering meaningful insights through intuitive visualizations.
Data Modelling & Analytics: Create robust data models using DAX and Power Query (M), ensuring high-performance and reliable reporting solutions.
Microsoft Fabric Solutions: Develop and maintain Semantic Models, connecting enterprise reporting to Lakehouse and Warehouse environments within Microsoft Fabric.
Performance & Governance: Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), optimize report performance, and contribute to governance best practices across Power BI and Fabric environments.
Platform Automation: Support the adoption of CI/CD practices for Power BI deployments while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to continuously improve analytics solutions.
Power BI Expertise: Solid experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query (M), Power BI Service, and interactive report development.
Microsoft Fabric: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Semantic Models, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and platform governance.
Analytics Best Practices: Strong understanding of report performance optimization, Row-Level Security (RLS), and enterprise reporting standards.
Microsoft Certifications: At least one Microsoft certification such as PL-300, DP-600, or DP-700.
Collaboration & Communication: Good communication skills, fluency in English (B2 or above), and the ability to work effectively within collaborative technical teams.
