Decskill in Porto is growing and seeks a skilled Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead end-to-end security initiatives across multiple teams.

You will develop plans, manage budgets and timelines, coordinate cyber, IT and architecture colleagues, and report progress to stakeholders. The role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity and 3+ years in project management, plus strong communication and governance skills. English is required in an international context.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cybersecurity projects end-to-end from concept to delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations, Development and technical teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, timeline and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones and deliverables, and provide regular project reporting to stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues and dependencies with mitigation plans.
• Proactively communicate with project stakeholders to identify challenges and drive effective solutions.
• Ensure alignment with security standards, governance and project management processes.
• Facilitate collaboration across technical and business teams and promote teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, processes and operational efficiency.

We are looking for an Cybersecurity Project Manager!

Responsabilities

• Lead cybersecurity projects end-to-end, from initial concept and planning through implementation and delivery.


• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables and budgets.


• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations, Development and technical teams.


• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, budget, timeline and quality standards.


• Monitor project progress, track milestones and deliverables, and provide regular project reporting to stakeholders.


• Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring appropriate mitigation and escalation plans are in place.


• Proactively communicate with project stakeholders to identify challenges, resolve issues and drive effective solutions.


• Ensure alignment with security standards, policies, governance and project management processes.


• Facilitate collaboration across technical and business teams and promote effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.


• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, preferably in technical or engineering environments.


• 3+ years of experience in Project Management, ideally within cybersecurity or IT.


• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies, with knowledge or hands‑on experience in areas such as:


• Identity & Access Management (IAM)


• Network Security


• Other relevant cybersecurity domains


• Solid technical background with the ability to understand and coordinate complex cybersecurity initiatives.


• Proven experience managing project scope, budget, timelines, risks, dependencies and deliverables.


• Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies, processes and governance.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.


• Experience working in collaborative, international and cross-functional environments.


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

• Professional Project Management certification, such as PMP or PRINCE2.


• Cybersecurity certification, such as CISSP or CISA.


• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, particularly NIST SP 800-x.


• Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and products.


• Experience with recognised cybersecurity project methodologies or frameworks.


• French – C1.

Languages

• English – C1, written and spoken.


• French – C1 is a plus / preferred.
