Devoteam Cyber Trust in Portugal is seeking a cybersecurity trainee to join the Cybersecurity Engineering team. You will work alongside senior experts to support delivery of security services and projects across multiple client sectors.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to technical audits, governance, cloud security, incident response, and reporting, with opportunities to learn about ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS frameworks.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (recent graduates).
• Academic background, personal projects, or hands-on lab experience in IT/Cybersecurity.

Responsabilidades

• Assist senior engineers in technical cybersecurity audits, assessments, and vulnerability analyses.
• Support the implementation, optimization, and monitoring of security controls (SIEM, EDR/XDR, Firewalls).
• Participate in incident response exercises, risk management, and alert triage.
• Help align clients' security posture with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Support the creation of technical reports, remediation plans, and security awareness content.
