Devoteam Portugal invites a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our Banking Sector practice. You will lead security projects, perform audits, and implement controls across cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring compliance with ISO/NIST standards.

The role requires strong incident response capabilities, threat monitoring, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to clients. Portuguese fluency and English proficiency are essential, with a collaborative, ethics-driven mindset.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in a similar security-focused role.
• Experience in cybersecurity audits, assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Experience designing, implementing and optimizing security solutions.
• Experience securing Linux and Windows systems.
• Experience protecting on-premises and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of IAM principles and solutions.
• Experience with incident response lifecycle.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001/27701, NIST, CIS, and SOC 2.
• Strong reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and deliver cybersecurity projects across sectors.
• Conduct audits, vulnerability assessments, and evaluations.
• Ensure client security aligns with standards and frameworks.
• Design, implement, optimize security controls and solutions.
• Contribute to risk management and threat mitigation.
• Develop and refine incident response plans and support during incidents.
• Deploy monitoring solutions, analyze alerts.
• Produce clear reports summarising findings and recommendations.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programmes to clients.
