As a Cybersecurity Governance & Program Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating cybersecurity initiatives, monitoring delivery, and strengthening governance processes across multiple international teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive cybersecurity program governance by monitoring project delivery, milestones, dependencies, risks, and overall execution across multiple initiatives.
- Coordinate governance meetings and steering committees, preparing agendas, executive presentations, meeting minutes, action tracking, and follow-up activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects or business domains, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Security teams, IT, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Review, challenge, and validate evidence demonstrating compliance with cybersecurity requirements, ensuring deliverables meet governance and regulatory expectations.
- Support alignment between project teams and cybersecurity governance functions by clarifying requirements, resolving interpretation challenges, and coordinating remediation plans.
- Produce executive-level reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and maturity assessments, providing clear visibility into program progress, risks, and strategic objectives.
- Analyze complex cybersecurity and IT operational topics, translating technical information into concise, business-oriented recommendations for senior management.
- Continuously improve governance processes by identifying opportunities for standardization, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Design and implement workflow automation using tools such as Power Automate, SharePoint, and Power BI, reducing manual effort and increasing reporting consistency.
- Explore and integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Model (LLM) use cases to enhance reporting, evidence collection, documentation, and governance activities.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of cybersecurity maturity assessment methodologies and governance frameworks.

Required Experience
- Experience working in Cybersecurity Governance, Cyber Program Management, Risk Management, IT Governance, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience coordinating complex programs involving multiple stakeholders and parallel workstreams.
- Ability to assess technical documentation, validate evidence, and challenge operational assumptions.
- Experience producing executive reports, dashboards, presentations, and governance documentation.
- Comfortable working in international, cross-functional environments.
