Siemens Cyber Defense Center in Lisbon seeks a skilled Security Analyst to join a team defending Siemens against cyber threats. You will perform threat detection and incident analysis, contributing to use-case development and detection analytics.

The role requires 3+ years in SOC, strong knowledge of OS platforms, SIEM experience, scripting skills, and excellent English. This is a hands-on position offering growth in a world-class security organization.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional experience in security monitoring or SOC environments.
• Understanding of enterprise detection & response, network traffic analysis and intrusion detection.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and use case development.
• Programming or scripting skills.
• Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and curiosity about technology.
• University degree in computer science or IT security; cybersecurity certifications are a plus (GCIH, GCFA, GICSP, GRID, GREM).
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

What will be your responsibilities?

What do you need to qualify for this job?

• 3+ years professional experience in security monitoring/security operations center environment (SOC), investigating security events, handling incidents, threats and/or vulnerabilities.
• Understanding of enterprise detection & response, network traffic analysis and intrusion detection.
• In-depth knowledge of operating system platforms and internals (Windows, Linux, and OSX).
• Good understanding of cyber security landscape, and TTPs.
• Working knowledge of SIEM platforms with experience in use case development.
• Development skills (scripting or high-level programming languages).
• Knowledge sharing and teamwork mindset.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn.
• A curious mind and a natural interest for technology, IT and OT security.
• University degree in computer science, IT security or related fields and cybersecurity certifications are a plus (GCIH, GCFA, GICSP, GRID, GREM or similar).
• Proficient in written and spoken English combined with good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
