A global automotive solutions provider is seeking a CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT QUALITICIAN in Portalegre, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have a higher education in engineering and at least 1 year of quality engineering experience in the automotive industry. Responsibilities include collaborating on FMEA's, managing customer claims, and participating in audits. Candidates must possess strong statistical analysis skills and fluency in English.

Qualificações

  • Minimum 1 year of Quality Engineering experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.

Responsabilidades

  • Collaborate in the realization of FMEA’s and quality specifications.
  • Manage the process of customer claims.
  • Participate in process audits and implement audit actions.

Conhecimentos

Problem-solving skills (8D, KT, or similar)
Statistical analysis skills (SPC, DOE)
Fluency in English
Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, etc.)

Job Description:

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Higher Education in Engineering;
  • 1+ Year Quality Engineering experience in automotive industry;
  • Strong statistical analysis skills (SPC, DOE, );
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills (8D, KT, or similar);
  • Must be able to work independently, be highly motivated, and have excellent written and verbal communications skills;
  • Knowledge of quality tools: FMEA, PPAP, APQP, CSR, LLC, 5Why, Ishikawa, etc;
  • Experience with IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System Standard is highly desirable;
  • Fluency in English;
Key responsibilities:
  • Participate in project team, collaborating in the realization of FMEA’s and in the definition of quality specifications in processes;
  • Collaborate in the elaboration of Control Plans;
  • Participate in the process audits and collaborate in defining and implementing the actions resulting from these same audits;
  • Manage the process of customer claims;
  • Participate in the permanent updating of documentation, namely: control plan, P-FMEA, R-FMEA, work instructions, process and product confirmation lists.
