Axians Portugal seeks a senior cybersecurity professional with deep cryptography expertise to define security requirements and lead data protection initiatives across the group. You will assess security risks, support cryptography projects, participate in security solution POCs, and mentor teams while promoting crypto-agility and robust key management across complex environments.

The role requires strong communication with stakeholders, fluency in English, and a proactive approach to security

Responsabilidades

• Define security requirements and strategy for Cryptography.
• Support subsidiaries in taking into account security measures.
• Analyse and evaluate security risks, their impacts and propose complementary measures.
• Participate in technical POCs on security solutions.
• Carry out a technological watch and contribute to the development of the security community within the bank.
• Assessment of robustness of designs and data protection mechanisms and keys;
• Project orientation towards the best techniques for data security depending on the case (cryptography, anonymization techniques, masking).
• Writing or validating risk analysis, proposing countermeasures.
• Definition of security requirements for cryptography & data security (Group scope).
• Proposals for approaches to inventory of cryptographic assets in the group, and crypto-agility.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a senior cybersecurity professional with strong expertise in cryptography, data protection, and key management. You will play a key role in defining and promoting security requirements and best practices related to encryption technologies, assessing security risks, and supporting the implementation of robust data protection mechanisms. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and cryptographic controls to help strengthen security and resilience across complex technology environments.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Define security requirements and strategy for Cryptography.
• Support subsidiaries in taking into account security measures.
• Analyse and evaluate security risks, their impacts and propose complementary measures.
• Participate in technical POCs on security solutions.
