Job summary

DansUGC in Lisbon seeks a high-volume creative strategist to turn apps into hooks, scripts, and edited UGC that stops the scroll. You’ll write ad-ready hooks and video scripts, and edit UGC yourself to ship final cuts.

You’ll mine competitor ads and our library to understand what works, then partner with paid ads to launch creatives and measure performance, optimizing iteratively.

Qualifications

• Writing that sells; share your best hooks.
• Editing capability with CapCut or Premiere to ad standard.
• Understanding direct response: angle, promise, proof, CTA.
• Must produce volume: two hooks per week minimum.

When we launch an app, someone has to decide what the ads should actually say. That's this role: the angle, the hook, the script — and often the edit itself.

What you'll do

• Write creative strategies for new apps: angles, audiences, hooks, and what to test first.
• Write the hooks and the scripts creators film.
• Edit UGC videos yourself — you ship ad‑ready cuts, not just briefs.
• Mine competitor ads and our own library for what's working, and why.
• Work directly with paid ads, so your creative goes live and you see the numbers come back.

What we're looking for

• Writing that sells. Send the hooks you're proudest of.
• You can edit — CapCut or Premiere — to a standard we'd run as an ad.
• You understand direct response: angle, promise, proof, call to action.
• You produce volume. A strategist who makes two hooks a week isn't useful.
