Job summary

Creative Milkshake is a remote-first performance creative agency seeking a Creative Lead (Social & UGC) to raise the quality across our Amsterdam studio operations. You will review storyboards, on-set footage, and edits, providing precise, actionable feedback to editors and designers and shaping our standard of excellence across a fast-moving portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years hands-on experience in video production, editing, content creation, or a creative role at a social-first agency or DTC brand.
• Hands-on on set or in the edit to understand production realities.
• Ability to critique and direct cut points, pacing, and on-screen text.

Responsibilities

• Review storyboards, raw footage when necessary, and final edits before they go to clients.
• Be the quality gate: clearly specify what needs to change and why.
• Build and maintain the ad example library, creative checklists, and “what good looks like” guides.
• Spot recurring patterns: editing habits, storyboard mistakes, hooks that underperform.
• Review raw footage after shoots and provide direction on usability and future edits.
• Give precise editing feedback to editors: pacing, cut points, text overlays, sound design.
• Advise on design fundamentals for static assets, thumbnails, and text treatments.
• Know what a 9:16 UGC ad needs to do in the first 2 seconds and how to articulate it to editors.
