NextPartners in Almada is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our construction team. You will safely operate mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, inspect equipment, and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents while coordinating lifts with the crew.

You must have at least 2 years of crane operation experience, a valid crane operator license or certification, the ability to read load charts and blueprints, and strong communication to coordinate lifts.

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Almada As a Crane Operator you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of cranes to lift move and position heavy materials on construction sites

Key Responsibilities

• Operate different types of cranes including mobile tower and overhead cranes
• Inspect crane equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working condition
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
• Communicate with other team members to coordinate lifts and ensure safe movement of materials
• Read and interpret load charts to determine the appropriate crane and rigging techniques for each lift
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on cranes such as lubricating parts and checking fluid levels
• Keep accurate records of daily activities including time spent on each job and materials lifted

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting
• Valid crane operator license or certification
• Experience with various types of cranes including mobile tower and overhead cranes
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for crane operations
• Ability to read load charts and blueprints
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate lifts with other team members

Physical Requirements

This is a full-time job that may require working long hours in various weather conditions The ideal candidate must be physically fit and able to climb ladders operate controls lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and work at heights

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per week along with accommodation options for out-of-town employees
