ACE OF PERFORMANCE is seeking a Copywriter to transform AI-generated drafts into human-sounding scripts for video ads. You will shape tone, pacing, and hooks, working with video editors to ensure on-screen impact. The role emphasizes storytelling, rapid testing, and adapting messages for diverse platforms.

The ideal candidate writes fluently in Portuguese and English, thrives in a fast-paced, test-and-iterate environment, and understands how to leverage AI tools to improve copy and outcomes.

• Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

The Role

We’re looking for a Copywriter who knows how to turn AI-generated drafts into scripts that actually sound human. Our video ad scripts start with AI, but it takes a sharp writer to shape them into something with rhythm, personality, and a real hook. Someone who can write for the ear and for the scroll, not just the page.

You won’t be fixing the machine’s mistakes — you’ll be the taste and judgment that decides what’s worth keeping. The AI drafts fast; you make it good.

What You’ll Own

• Write and refine scripts for video ads across our client portfolio
• Take AI-generated drafts and rework them - tone, pacing, personality - so they land like a real person wrote them
• Partner closely with our video editors to make sure scripts translate well once they hit the screen
• Craft hooks, CTAs, and messaging angles adapted to different audiences and platforms
• Stay on top of trends and formats that are actually working in short-form video right now
• Iterate fast based on performance data and creative testing feedback

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience writing scripts or copy for video/creative content, in any area of marketing

Comfortable using AI writing tools daily, with the judgment to know what to keep, cut, or completely rewrite

A strong storytelling instinct: you can spot what makes a script feel flat and know how to fix it

Fluency in both Portuguese and English, written and spoken

Thrives in a fast-paced, test-and-iterate environment
