Capgemini Engineering in Porto is seeking a Converter Control Engineer to design, simulate, and validate control systems for grid-connected wind turbine converters.

You will develop algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSCAD and collaborate with electrical design, software, and grid compliance teams to ensure grid code readiness.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or Power Electronics.
• 3+ years in power converter industry, preferably energy.
• Knowledge of grid-connected converters control design.

Responsabilidades

• Design control strategies for grid-connected converters.
• Develop control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSCAD.
• Perform time-domain and frequency-domain analysis.
• Support field troubleshooting of converter issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews.
