Capgemini Engineering in Porto is seeking a Converter Control Engineer (F/M) to design, simulate, and validate control systems for grid-connected wind turbine converters. You will develop control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink to ensure grid code compliance and optimal turbine performance.

You’ll design control strategies for grid-connected converters, perform time- and frequency-domain analyses, and collaborate with electrical design, software, and grid-compliance teams.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or Power Electronics.
• 3+ years in power converter industry, preferably energy.
• Knowledge of grid-connected converter control design.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team collaboration and communication skills.

YOUR ROLE

As a Converter Control Engineer, you'll design, simulate, and validate control systems for grid-connected power converters in wind turbines. You'll develop control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink to ensure grid code compliance and optimal turbine performance.

• Understanding of DQO, sequence, and phasor representations
