Job summary

Qatar Wellness Network is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator/Welder in Porto on a contract basis. You will read blueprints, cut and shape metal, and weld using MIG, TIG, or arc techniques to meet specifications. This role requires physical strength and the ability to work safely with heavy machinery.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in metalworking, good English communication, and a biometric passport. Salary is $1400 per month, negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in metalworking/fabrication.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or specifications to determine project requirements.
• Use hand and power tools to cut and shape metal pieces.
• Operate machinery such as shears, presses, and rollers.
• Measure and mark dimensions with rulers or templates.
• Weld or join metal pieces using MIG, TIG, or arc welding.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Make adjustments to machinery or equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols while working with dangerous tools and equipment.
