Job summary

BrightHire is seeking a skilled Contract Florist to join our Porto team. You will create floral arrangements for weddings, birthdays, and corporate events, sourcing fresh flowers and maintaining inventory. You will work with event planners to ensure designs match the event theme and handle setup and teardown with care.

You will provide attentive client service, understand needs, and offer recommendations. Accommodation is provided for contract florists in Porto, Portugal.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Florist or similar role.
• Knowledge of different types of flowers, care instructions and design techniques.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills to work with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work on weekends or holidays when needed.
• Must have own visa for working in Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Create unique floral arrangements according to clients' preferences and event theme.
• Source and select high-quality flowers from suppliers.
• Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies.
• Ensure proper care and handling of flowers to maintain freshness.
• Collaborate with event planners and other vendors to coordinate floral designs with overall event aesthetic.
• Set up, decorate, and tear down event spaces as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by understanding clients' needs and making appropriate recommendations.
