VertexGlobal in Braga is seeking a skilled Fitter on a contract basis to assemble and install mechanical components according to blueprints and technical specifications.

You will read blueprints, fit pipes, valves, pumps and motors, use hand and power tools, inspect products, and troubleshoot. The position offers a monthly salary of 1,700 USD; accommodation is not provided. Applicants must have own visa to work in Braga.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring devices accurately.
• Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and machinery used in fitting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine assembly procedures.
• Assemble and install mechanical components such as pipes, valves, pumps and motors.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and measuring devices to perform tasks.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate work schedules and tasks.
