Crealis Group in Aveiro is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our industrial organization and drive productivity, quality, and standardization. You will work across operations to translate improvement opportunities into measurable results on the shop floor.

You'll apply Lean, Kaizen, 5S, TPM and Six Sigma methodologies, monitor KPIs, and train teams to embed a strong continuous improvement culture, turning ideas into sustainable actions across functions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Production Engineering with relevance to manufacturing operations.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data to drive decisions.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Solid communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsabilités

• Analyze processes and identify waste and performance gaps.
• Lead and support improvement projects on the shop floor.
• Apply Lean, Kaizen, 5S, TPM and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Use PDCA, Ishikawa, Pareto and 5W2H to solve operational problems.
• Utilize Value Stream Mapping to redesign and optimize process flows.
• Monitor KPIs and translate data into concrete improvement actions.
• Support process audits and corrective-action plans.
• Standardize successful practices and operating procedures.
• Train and engage operational teams in continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across functions to turn ideas into sustainable results.

You could be the right fit if you have

• A degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Production Engineering
• At least 2-3 years' experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel
• Project management and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage people at different levels of the organization

We're looking for someone who is analytical but practical, comfortable with data but equally comfortable spending time on the shop floor.
