A leading content moderation agency in Lisbon seeks candidates fluent in English and either Dutch, German, or Nordic languages to ensure safe user experiences on social media platforms. Applicants must be comfortable handling sensitive content and thrive in a team-based, fast-paced environment. This role is full-time with hybrid working options available and offers a two-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension or permanent placement.

Job description

Filtering the content of social media. Screening and monitoring the platform for abusive, violent, or other inappropriate content and ensuring a safe experience for its users and communities. Applicants should keep in mind that the content will in some cases contain strong and sensitive content.

Job requirements
  • Written and oral fluency in English + Dutch OR German OR Nordic C2.
  • Able to deal with hard content.
  • A desire to work in a team-based, fast-paced, international environment where they will embrace different cultures, nationalities and languages.
  • Intermediate IT skills.
Schedule
  • Full-time (39 hours/week) employee is working from Monday to Sunday with 2 weekends in a month (day off can be separate during the week).
  • Part-time (16 hours/week) employee is only working on Saturday to Sunday (the training will be as a FT).
  • Both are divided into different shifts.
  • Working model depending on the LOB (line of business) and market. Hybrid model is being implemented (Details can be found via email in the commitment Agency Excel).
  • Maximal 7 days working in a row.
  • They get the schedule with a month in advance.
  • All breaks are included and paid (25 min lunch, 5 minutes per hour break).
Contract information
  • Fixed term contract: 2 months, renewable depending on performance. After four or six months we can provide a permanent contract.
  • 1 month probation period included in first contract.
  • Hired since day 1 of training, therefore training is paid.
Training
  • All LOBs (Lines of Business) training happens on working days (Mon-Friday, no weekends and no bank holidays).
  • Training hours will be confirmed by email the week before starting and they can be different then the working hours.
  • The training duration depends on the LOB, in case the candidate needs this information you can always check this with the recruiter. The minimal duration of training is 1 week and maximal duration will be up to 6 weeks.
Holidays
  • 32 days distributed over the year in 4 full week + 4 individual days.
  • No holidays during the first 2 months.
