Ideal applicants hold an ACC or equivalent, a degree in accounting/finance, three+ years of experience, and fluent English. The role offers autonomy, structured processes, and collaboration with auditors and authorities.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Manage monthly and annual accounting closings.
• Prepare and validate financial statements and SAFT files.
• Ensure full tax compliance (VAT, IRS, IRC, IES, DMR, Modelo 22).
• Monitor legislative updates and attend training.
• Prepare tax returns and support audits.
• Maintain organized documentation and internal controls.
• Produce financial reports and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, Tax Authority, Social Security, and other entities.

We are looking for Accountant to join our team in Palhaça (Aveiro). The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized, and experienced in managing accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and annual accounting closings.
• Prepare and validate financial statements and SAFT files.
• Ensure full tax compliance (VAT, IRS, IRC, IES, DMR, Modelo 22).
• Monitor legislative updates and proactively attend training.
• Prepare tax returns and support audits.
• Maintain organized documentation and internal controls.
• Produce financial reports and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, Tax Authority, Social Security, and other entities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
• OCC registration (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of SNC and Portuguese tax legislation.
• Experience with ERP systems (Central Gest or equivalent).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills, rigor, autonomy, and teamwork.
• Fluent in English (mandatory).
