Overview

A construction company in Porto is seeking an experienced Concrete Worker to join our team. As a Concrete Worker you will be responsible for pouring, smoothing and leveling concrete surfaces for various construction projects. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning and leveling the area.
• Pour concrete into designated areas using wheelbarrows or pumps.
• Smooth and level concrete using various tools such as trowels, screeds and floats.
• Apply finishing techniques such as stamping or coloring to create desired textures and patterns.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust work accordingly to ensure quality of work.
• Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Concrete Worker in a construction setting.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, and work in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of different types of concrete mixtures and application techniques.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively with other workers on the job site.

Salary
