SBM Offshore in Porto is seeking an Associate Compliance Officer to join our global Compliance team. You will support the Speak Up channel, internal investigations, third-party due diligence, and risk assessments, while helping to enhance awareness and training across the organization.

You will act as a trusted advisor to business units, building strong relationships to promote integrity and accountability within a multinational framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Admin, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years in Compliance, Legal, Audit, Risk.
• Fluent English (written & oral).
• Experience in multinational setting desirable.
• Oil & gas sector knowledge a plus.

Responsabilités

• Speak Up program management and internal investigations support.
• Conduct third-party due diligence reviews and monitoring.
• Provide compliance advisory to business stakeholders across functions.
• Assist in policy development, controls, and risk assessments.
• Support reporting, governance, and metrics delivery.
• Deliver compliance training and awareness campaigns.
