AMGEN in Lisbon is seeking a Commercial Forecasting Sr Associate to partner with global brand leads and deliver data-backed insights for commercial strategy. You will build forecasts across indications and regions and present results to senior teams in a clear, decision-focused manner.

Qualificações

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharma/Biotech forecasting, demand planning, and supply chain management.
  • Master’s degree and 3 years of forecasting experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 5 years forecasting experience.
  • University Degree in commerce, finance, economics, mathematics, healthcare or related field.
  • Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.

Responsabilidades

  • Build detailed and advanced forecast model (patient, Rx, sales, Rx Based, etc.) projecting units and revenue for AMGEN products by indication/regions.
  • Supporting business planning and decision making through financial analysis.
  • Analyze competitors and market dynamics to inform forecasting models and strategic decisions.
  • Develop and deliver transparent presentations that articulate key variables in the forecast, ensuring comprehensive understanding for decision-makers.
  • Act as the point of contact for global brand leads, engaging them in forecasting deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the broader CD&A (Commercial Data & Analytics) organization to integrate comprehensive insights and analytics.
  • Supporting ACCP continuous improvement activities.
  • Supporting wider business units on an ad hoc basis (Finance/Marketing/Business Enablement).

Commercial Forecasting Sr Associate

What you will do

The forecasting team at AMGEN plays a pivotal role as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, offering data-backed insights crucial for driving commercial success. As a Commercial Forecasting Sr Associate, you will contribute to the brands, executing and managing discussions with global brand leads.

The individual in this role will need to skillfully influence and challenge a diverse set of stakeholders from Marketing, Commercial, R&D, Medical, Finance, Access, and Pricing/Contracting, while proficiently understanding the nuances of the disease area of interest and markets they support.

You, as our Commercial Forecasting Sr Associate, play a pivotal role as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, offering data-backed insights crucial for driving commercial success. You will contribute to the global inline/pipeline assets, executing and managing discussions with global brand leads, and supporting wider Business Units within the ACCP.

Other responsibilities will include
  • Build detailed and advanced forecast model (patient, Rx, sales, Rx Based, etc.) projecting units and revenue for AMGEN products by indication/regions.
  • Supporting business planning and decision making through financial analysis.

Minimum Requirements

Preferred Requirements
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry and working with internal and secondary data sources.
  • Proficiency in advanced forecasting techniques, statistical modeling, and data analysis.
  • Highly skilled in working collaboratively in a team-based environment and gaining alignment across an organization.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a service-minded attitude.
