Amgen's Commercial Analytics Senior Associate in Lisbon will partner with Commercial leadership to generate insights from diverse data sources. You will help shape brand performance and deliver tactical recommendations while collaborating with GCCI colleagues and global leaders.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, data-driven decision making, and delivery of analytics to support inline and pipeline assets in a multinational setting.

Qualificações

  • 3+ years in pharma/biotech sales, marketing ops, finance or analytics.
  • Master’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of analytics or ops experience.
  • University degree in commerce, finance, economics, mathematics, healthcare or related field.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.

Responsabilidades

  • Design and execute secondary data analytics to support strategic decisions, tracking progress and coordinating results readouts.
  • Support insights generation by integrating secondary data sources with GCCI colleagues.
  • Build relationships with global brand leads and stakeholders; contribute to discussions and tasks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to synthesize findings and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Support leadership and brand teams through analytics and performance management.
  • Provide analysis using diverse data sources to understand brand performance.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to prioritize analytics needs.
  • Contribute to GCCI capabilities by researching new tools and data sources.

Commercial Analytics Senior Associate

What you will do

The Commercial Analytics team at Amgen plays a pivotal role as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, offering data-backed insights crucial for driving commercial success. As a Commercial Analytics Senior Associate, you will assist in insights generation by integrating multitude of secondary data sources and engaging several Global Customer Capability & Innovation (GCCI) colleagues to develop an understanding of brand performance and provide tactical recommendations to drive it.

You, as our Commercial Analytics Sr. Associate, plays a pivotal role as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, offering data-backed insights crucial for driving commercial success and stakeholder management. You will contribute to the global inline/pipeline assets, executing and participate in discussions with global brand leads.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Participate in the design and execution of secondary data analytics to support strategic decision-making by helping implement solutions, tracking progress, and coordinating results readout.
  • Support insights generation in the integration of secondary data sources and collaborate with GCCI colleagues to understand brand performance.
  • Build relationships with global brand leads and key stakeholders, while contributing to discussions with global brand leads and executing tasks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to help synthesize findings, develop recommendations, and articulate actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Support senior leadership and brand teams through secondary data analytics and performance management.
  • Provide analysis using complex data sources including HCP and Account-level Demand data, Claims data, Electronic Medical Records data, Specialty Pharmacy data, etc. to generate a holistic, objective, and detailed understanding of the brand
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to prioritize business needs and enable effective execution of analytics.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the GCCI team's capabilities by researching and implementing new analytical tools, methodologies, and data sources.
  • Collaborate with the broader GCCI organization to integrate comprehensive insights and analytics.

What we expect of you

Our ideal candidate is a team player with customer focus. He/she is problem solving and result oriented and has time and process management skills and can compile data.

Proven experience and skills needed:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharma/Biotech sales & marketing operations, finance and/or analytics and reporting experience
  • OR Master’s degree and 3 years of sales & marketing operations, finance and/or analytics experience
  • OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of analytics sales & marketing operations, finance and/or analytics experience
  • University Degree in commerce, finance, economics, mathematics, healthcare or related field.
  • Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
Preferred Requirements:
  • Familiarity with technologies and applications, and hands‑on experience to analyze, synthesize, and integrate various secondary data
  • Knowledge in data, analytics, research, and/or dashboarding & reporting approach
  • Capable to identify & define business problem, and address through data, analytics, and research
  • Proficient analysis and project management skills to turn unstructured business issues into action plans that result in meaningful strategic or tactical recommendations
  • Ability to drive implementation to enhance methodologies and standard processes
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills, with ability to explain complex concepts verbally or visually via PowerPoint
  • Consistently engage and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional team to shape brand strategy and understand risks and opportunities
  • Demonstrates a service-minded attitude.
