Merkle, part of the dentsu network, is hiring a Commerce Delivery Lead in Lisbon. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery of complex product initiatives for a critical E‑Commerce program, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet scope, timeline, and quality targets.

You will work in a hybrid model from Lisbon, partnering with product managers to shape vision and roadmap while ensuring effective stakeholder communication and risk mitigation throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Commerce Delivery Lead in technology-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of product development initiatives.
  • Define scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders.
  • Develop delivery plans with timelines, milestones, and resources.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet delivery requirements.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
  • Communicate updates and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings to drive decisions and resolve issues.
  • Manage changes to scope and schedule.
  • Ensure deliveries are on time and within scope.
  • Conduct post-delivery evaluations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with product management to define vision and roadmap.

Job Description

As a Commerce Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex product development initiatives within a critical E-Commerce program. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of product development initiatives.
  • Define the delivery scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with client management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed delivery plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates and status reports.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions to drive decision‑making and resolve delivery issues.
  • Manage changes to the delivery scope and schedule.
  • Ensure that deliveries are delivered on time, and within scope.
  • Conduct post‑delivery evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Report and escalat.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Commerce Delivery Lead in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, MS Project).
  • Demonstrated experience in product management, including product lifecycle management and roadmap development.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD and monitoring tools (Bamboo / Jenkins or similar, Grafana / OpenSearch or similar) is a plus.
