Job summary

Leonteq AG in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a collateral management professional to handle margin calls, dispute resolution, and collateral settlements with precision and timeliness.

You will monitor end-to-end collateral workflows to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and clearing house rules, escalate issues to Operations, Front Office, Risk and IT, and evaluate new funding trades from a collateral perspective to optimize allocation within liquidity constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience or theoretical knowledge of collateral activities (OTC, listed, regulatory, cash/non-cash).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Process collateral management tasks: margin calls, dispute management, collateral and interest settlement
• Monitor end to end workflow for collateral management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and clearing house rules
• Ensure timely escalation of issues to Operations, Front Office, Risk and IT
• Participate in the negotiation of legal master agreements (GMSLA, GMRA, ISDA, CTA)
• Analyze new products and activities and provide input on funding trades from a Collateral and Treasury perspective
• Optimize collateral allocation under credit exposure and liquidity ratios
• Drive process improvements and contribute to group projects to design new tools
