Job summary

Next Engineering is looking for a Cobit Consultant in Lisbon. You will support the adaptation and implementation of COBIT-based security policies and improve information security controls aligned with local regulations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in Information Security or related fields, is fluent in Portuguese and English, and can work autonomously. The position offers a salary between 1100€–1400€, plus food allowance and other benefits.

• 3+ years of experience in Information Security, IT Risk, IAM, or Digital Resilience.
• Strong execution mindset with ability to work autonomously.

Be our NEXT Cobit Consultant

Your responsibilities

• Support the adaptation and implementation of the group’s COBIT-based security policies to the local entity’s operational reality
• Execute and improve information security controls aligned with DORA, BaFin, and Portuguese regulatory requirements
• Translate business requirements into non-functional security requirements for application and technology teams
• Support IAM processes (Joiner, Mover, Leaver), improving controls, tracking, and automation initiatives
• Contribute to compliance evidence gathering, audit follow-up activities, and governance documentation management
• Work with Power Automate, Power BI, and internal tools to streamline manual security and compliance processes

What we are looking for

• Hands-on experience with COBIT frameworks and information security governance
• Experience with Power Automate and Power BI
• 3+ years of experience in Information Security, IT Risk, IAM, or Digital Resilience environments
• Strong execution mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory)
