Job summary

YO IT Consulting seeks an experienced CNC Machinist for a remote contractor role focused on advanced part production and process optimization. You will set up and operate CNC machines, interpret drawings, and verify dimensional accuracy using precision tools.

Responsibilities include loading programs, configuring tooling, running first-piece inspections, and troubleshooting issues such as tool wear and chatter. Strong communication in English is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience in setup and production.
• Strong experience with Haas CNC controls, including VF-series.
• Familiarity with Makera Carvera hobbyist CNC platforms preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Experience with precision measurement tools.
• Experience machining various metals and plastics.
• Strong troubleshooting and process optimization skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
