Farfetch is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to join our Porto Platform team. You will design, automate, and operate secure, scalable cloud network infrastructure using modern cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code.

You will implement network provisioning, monitoring, and optimization while collaborating with Platform, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver resilient systems. This role emphasizes automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in cloud networking, preferably Azure; AWS/GCP also valued.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: routing, switching, VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform; automation using Python, Bash, or similar.
• Familiar with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Kubernetes networking and container platforms is a plus.
• Analytical with troubleshooting skills and proactive problem-solving.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

• Simplify and modernize our network architecture by reducing complexity and improving reliability.
• Monitor network performance, proactively identify issues, and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Platform, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver resilient and secure infrastructure.
• Contribute to technical standards, documentation, and operational excellence initiatives.

We're looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to join our Platform team and help design, automate, and operate secure, scalable, and resilient cloud network infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code, and network automation while contributing to solutions that have a real business impact.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Implement, and manage cloud networking solutions across modern cloud platforms.

WHO YOU ARE

• A graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experienced in cloud networking, preferably in Azure (AWS or GCP experience is also valued).
• You have strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, and firewalls.
• You have experience with: Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform; and Automation using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Familiar with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experienced in Kubernetes networking and container platforms is a plus.
• Analytical with troubleshooting skills and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• You have a collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CKAD, JNCIA, AZ-900, NSE, or equivalent.
• Experience with hybrid cloud networking, SD-WAN, or Zero Trust architectures.
• Familiarity with network observability and monitoring tools.
