MobiLab Solutions GmbH in Aveiro, Portugal is seeking a System Engineer (English Speaking) to lead cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure efforts.

You will plan migrations from on‑prem to Azure and VMware, configure networking, and ensure security, performance, and reliability while collaborating with IT teams. The role demands 3+ years in IT infra, strong Azure and VMware knowledge, and excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration strategies.
• Strong knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Unix, Active Directory, Horizon/Citrix, and networking.
• Experience with Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, Application Gateways) and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Familiarity with cloud migration tools such as Azure Migrate or VMware HCX.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Good team player with a proactive and positive mindset.
• English fluency (German and/or Portuguese is a plus).

Responsabilidades

• Assess on-premises environments using Azure Migrate and develop migration strategies.
• Plan and execute migrations to Azure, VMware, and hybrid environments.
• Deploy and manage Azure networking components (NSGs, Firewalls, VNets).
• Manage and troubleshoot Azure VMs, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on secure cloud environments.
• Monitor and optimize cloud systems for performance and reliability.
• Stay updated on Azure advancements and recommend improvements.
