Axians is seeking a Cloud Enterprise Architect to define, govern, and evolve cloud architecture strategies in a global banking environment. You will act as a trusted advisor ensuring cloud solutions align with enterprise standards, security, compliance, and business objectives while driving innovation across cloud, AI, APIs and data initiatives.

You will guide cloud-native designs, microservices, and DevOps practices, supporting teams with reference architectures and best practices.

Qualificações

• Proven experience designing and governing cloud-based solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud.
• Experience with microservices architectures, APIs, scalability, resiliency, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of containerization and IaC technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience integrating security controls and Secure Development Lifecycle practices into cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or similar).
• Experience with architecture assessments, gap analyses, risk evaluations, and technology roadmapping.
• Understanding of cloud governance, regulatory requirements, and data residency principles.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Exposure to Financial Services, Banking, Payments, or Capital Markets is a plus.
• Relevant cloud or architecture certifications are highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Drive the execution of the cloud strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with goals and governance.
• Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, governance policies, and security controls.
• Assess cloud-based applications and services, monitoring maturity, risks, and migration opportunities.
• Provide architectural guidance for cloud-native solutions, microservices, APIs, DevOps, and IaC.
• Support development teams with cloud design patterns and reference architectures.
• Contribute to cloud governance processes, including security, cost management and SDLC practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, PoCs, and innovative solutions with internal teams and partners.
• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams for strategic discussions and decisions.
• Prepare and present architecture recommendations, roadmaps, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement and architectural consistency across cloud initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Cloud Enterprise Architect responsible for defining, governing, and evolving cloud architecture strategies within a global banking environment. You will act as a trusted advisor and strategic gatekeeper, ensuring that cloud solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, regulatory obligations, and long-term business objectives while driving innovation across cloud, AI, APIs, and data-driven initiatives.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

• Drive the execution of the cloud strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and data sovereignty principles.
• Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, governance policies, and security controls across the organization.
• Assess cloud-based applications and services, monitoring their maturity, risks, and migration opportunities.
• Provide architectural guidance and best practices for cloud-native solutions, microservices, APIs, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Support development teams with cloud design patterns, reference architectures, and technology adoption strategies.
• Contribute to cloud governance processes, including compliance, security, cost management, and Secure Development Lifecycle practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, Proofs of Concept, and innovative solutions alongside internal teams and external partners.
• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, facilitating strategic discussions and architectural decisions.
• Prepare and present architecture recommendations, roadmaps, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
• Promote continuous improvement and architectural consistency across cloud initiatives and enterprise platforms.

Your Main Qualifications
