Job summary

GreenLine Electronics in Almada is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide nutrition counseling and create personalized meal plans for patients with various medical conditions. You will work within our healthcare facility to improve patient health through proper nutrition.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, at least 2 years' experience, and an RD license or the ability to obtain one. Strong counseling and communication skills are essential, with knowledge of medical nutrition

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian.
• RD license in Almada or ability to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills.
• Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for various conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and food allergies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized meal plans based on patients' medical history, dietary restrictions and personal preferences.
• Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to their meal plans as needed.
• Educate patients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and food preparation techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in nutrition.
