Greenvolt seeks a Junior Civil Design Engineer to join the Utility Scale Project & Engineering team, supporting the development of large-scale PV and BESS projects. The role is based in Venda do Pinheiro with a hybrid work model and an internship contract.

Responsibilities include assisting in foundations, drainage and civil works design, reviewing technical studies, and preparing engineering deliverables while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Structures/Geotechnical preferred).
• Knowledge of foundations, drainage, roads and civil works design.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong English communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Support the design and engineering of utility-scale PV and BESS projects.
• Review technical studies including topographical, geotechnical and hydrological assessments.
• Assist in design of foundations, roads, drainage, trenches and pulling chambers.
• Prepare and validate engineering deliverables, specs and bill of quantities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
• Participate in project follow-up from development to commissioning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools and templates.

We are looking for a Junior Civil Design Engineer to join our Utility Scale Project & Engineering team and support the development of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

Location

Venda do Pinheiro, P11, PT.

Main responsibilities

• Support the design and engineering of utility-scale PV and BESS projects.
• Review technical studies and reports, including topographical, geotechnical and hydrological assessments.
• Assist in the design of foundations, internal roads, drainage systems, trenches and pulling chambers.
• Support the preparation and validation of engineering deliverables, technical specifications and bill of quantities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and external engineering consultants.
• Participate in project follow-up activities from development through construction and commissioning.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools and templates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Structures and/or Geotechnical Engineering preferred).
• Basic knowledge of civil engineering design for infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
• Understanding of foundations, drainage systems, roads and civil works design.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude, teamwork spirit and willingness to learn.
