Capgemini Engineering seeks a Mediation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-performance mediation solutions for telecom data flow and transformation. The role requires deep technical expertise and hands-on coding across C/C++, Java, SQL, and scripting, with a strong telecom operations background.

You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with global teams to deliver robust mediation platforms, test workflows, and ensure scalable data processing.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/ECOM
• 2+ years’ experience in Nokia Mediation or similar
• Ability to independently write code, test, and deliver workflows
• Strong telecom domain understanding is required
• Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and Unix
• Knowledge of C, C++, Perl, Java and XML
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker; cloud familiarity (OpenStack/VMware) is plus

YOUR ROLE

As a Mediation Engineer, my mission is to design, implement, and maintain high-performance mediation solutions that enable seamless data flow and transformation across telecom systems. I am committed to delivering robust, scalable, and future-ready mediation platforms by combining deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of telecom operations.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics and communications or relevant field, with strong software interest)
• Graduate – minimum of 2 years’ experience in Nokia Mediation or any other mediation product/system.
• Working knowledge of mediation product/system with ability to independently work, write code, test and deliver good quality workflows/nodes/streams and functional tests.
• Good background and understanding of telecom domain concepts.
• Good debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communications skills (written and verbal).
• Good exposure and working experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, Unix.
• Good exposure and knowledge in C, C++, Perl, Java and XML.
• Working experience in Business Logic Tool (BLT), TimesTen and other product specific features.
• Scripting knowledge in Shell, Bash, Python and Ansible.
• Knowledge on Kubernetes and docker container is a plus.
• Exposure and hands‑on knowledge into cloud methodologies, technologies and OpenStack and VMWare is also a plus.
• Experienced with Nokia Mediation applications based on Nokia CSF platform is also a plus.
